Christine Mars

Ms. Mars has over seven years of experience serving young children and their families in a variety of service models and settings such as Part C early intervention and Early Head Start/Head Start programs that include home, community, and school-based settings. Her interests include early intervention for children with developmental delays and/or disabilities, inclusion, and holistic service provision for children and families from under resourced communities and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, with the aim of mitigating opportunity gaps. Ms. Mars is a graduate student in the University of Kansas’ Department of Special Education Early Childhood Unified program.
